Mixed process dynamics in DMC

I am interested in hearing from anybody who knows of techniques within DMC+ for dealing with systems possessing controlled variables with a mixture of integrating and self-regulating models. This is something that DMC+ (v3.0) does not appear to handle readily within the current modeling framework.

Any opinion on the validity of a process model that contains CVs with mixed process dynamics would also be appreciated.
